Additive Manufacturing

The AON3D Hylo printer is designed for high-performance industrial additive manufacturing, with advanced thermal control and compatibility with engineering-grade thermoplastics.

The stereolithography (SLA) 3D printer, Formlabs, Form 4 is used to create solid isotropic parts from a liquid photopolymer resin.

This 6-axis Fanuc robot arm is used to handle custom designed printheads. With a reach of 1.8 m, we use it to print large parts made of thermoplastic and thermosetting materials at high speed on non-planar surfaces.- Arm reach: 1853 mm

The Bambu Lab X1E is a high-performance 3D printer designed for precision and speed. It features advanced technologies such as multi-material printing, automatic bed leveling, and a high-resolution camera for real-time monitoring. The X1E supports a wide range of materials, including PLA, ABS, PETG, and flexible filaments, making it versatile for various applications.

LM2 has a total of 6 Bambu Lab X1E printers, with different nozzle sizes: 0.2mm (1), 0.4mm (3), 0.6mm (1), and 0.8mm (1)

The Prusa XL is a high-end, large-format 3D printer designed for precision and scalability. Featuring a massive build volume, the XL is equipped with a segmented heated bed for efficient energy use and modular tool heads for multi-material and multi-color printing. Its advanced features include automatic mesh bed leveling, filament sensors, and a direct-drive extruder for improved reliability and print quality. Ideal for both professionals and enthusiasts, the Prusa XL offers a robust and versatile solution for producing large, complex prints with exceptional detail and accuracy.

The three roll mixer is used for the dispersion of nanoparticles in polymers with electronic controller of all the mixing parameters (roll spacing and rotation speed), which allows a high reproducibility.
