About
Arij began her PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal in September 2024. She holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering (Structures and Dynamics of Aeronautical Systems) from École Centrale de Lyon, and previously completed a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering at Sorbonne University (UPMC), including an ERASMUS+ research exchange at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
Her research is conducted at LM2 and CREPEC and focuses on the development of smart morphing composite structures for aerospace applications. The project combines 4D printing and automated fiber placement (AFP) to fabricate lightweight, reconfigurable wings capable of shape adaptation in response to flight conditions.
