About
Saeideh began her PhD studies in mechanical engineering in September 2023. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran. Currently, she is part of the Polystable Lab and the LM2 Lab, supervised by David Mélançon and Frédérick Gosselin.
Her research focuses on designing foldable high-gain, broad-bandwidth reflectarrays for space applications based on the art of origami. Her work aims to design a packable structure that can be stowed during launch (small for the journey) and self-deployed in space (large at the destination). Wish her good luck! 🙂
