Her project focuses on the development of a 3D-printable, abradable epoxy syntactic foam for aerospace applications, specifically targeting aircraft engine sealing and acoustic liners. Using a formulation filled with hollow glass microspheres and fumed silica, she investigates the material’s processability and performance to optimize its properties. This research supports the development of advanced lightweight and functional materials for the next generation of aircraft manufacturing.
