Project Description
I investigate interlayer strength in 3D printed parts and provide experimental data to calibrate and validate phase-field models of fracture. Using a Design of Experiments approach, I measure delamination energy in printed specimens as a function of key process parameters. This research supports the development of more accurate predictive models for failure in additive manufacturing.
