class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>PEEKBot est un projet collaboratif de 4 ans (2020-2024) entre une \u00e9quipe acad\u00e9mique de 10 chercheurs de 3 institutions (Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al, \u00c9cole de technologie sup\u00e9rieure (\u00c9TS) et Universit\u00e9 Laval), l'Agence Spatiale Canadienne (ASC) et 4 partenaires industriels (ArianeGroup, NanoXplore, Dyze Design, Mekanic). Il est soutenu financi\u00e8rement par les partenaires industriels (ArianeGroup et NanoXplore), le CRSNG (programme Alliance) et Prima-Qu\u00e9bec. Le projet PEEKBot visait la conception et la fabrication d'un rover d'exploration lunaire l\u00e9ger et innovant en mat\u00e9riaux composites pouvant tol\u00e9rer les conditions difficiles de l'espace (par exemple, la r\u00e9sistance aux cycles thermiques importants).<\/p><p>Du c\u00f4t\u00e9 des mat\u00e9riaux, l'\u00e9quipe con\u00e7oit diff\u00e9rentes formulations de composites thermoplastiques hautes performances, principalement du poly\u00e9ther\u00e9therc\u00e9tone (PEEK) et du poly\u00e9therimide (PEI), ainsi que leurs m\u00e9langes renforc\u00e9s de fibres courtes de carbone, de nanotubes de carbone et de graph\u00e8ne, pour r\u00e9pondre aux exigences de l'environnement spatial (par exemple, haute temp\u00e9rature, faible d\u00e9gazage). Nous utilisons la mod\u00e9lisation num\u00e9rique pour pr\u00e9dire les comportements m\u00e9caniques et thermiques de ces mat\u00e9riaux afin de guider nos efforts exp\u00e9rimentaux. Au niveau de la fabrication, nous utilisons ces mat\u00e9riaux d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s pour produire des panneaux sandwich composites qui serviront de corps principal du rover. L'\u00e2me du panneau sandwich, apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 optimis\u00e9e par simulation, sera fabriqu\u00e9e par fabrication additive. Cette \u00e2me sera ensuite jointe \u00e0 deux peaux composites gr\u00e2ce au proc\u00e9d\u00e9 de soudage par induction d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par l'\u00e9quipe. Finalement, apr\u00e8s avoir int\u00e9gr\u00e9 les diff\u00e9rents composants, l'ASC effectuera divers tests pour \u00e9valuer l'adaptabilit\u00e9 du rover aux conditions lunaires, notamment en utilisant un terrain lunaire \u00e9mul\u00e9.<\/p><p>Les r\u00e9sultats de ce projet pourraient potentiellement avoir des applications terrestres l\u00e0 o\u00f9 les climats\/temp\u00e9ratures sont rigoureux (par exemple, le Grand Nord qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois, les composants de moteurs d&#039;avions, les lanceurs de fus\u00e9es, les satellites) et renforceront le r\u00f4le du Canada et de l&#039;ASC
