Ghorbani est actuellement chercheur postdoctoral sous la supervision de Frederick Gosselin, se concentrant sur le d\u00e9veloppement d&#039;un jumeau num\u00e9rique ax\u00e9 sur les donn\u00e9es pour une turbine hydro\u00e9lectrique, en collaboration avec des \u00e9tudiants au doctorat et \u00e0 la ma\u00eetrise. Il est \u00e9galement charg\u00e9 de cours \u00e0 temps partiel au d\u00e9partement de g\u00e9nie m\u00e9canique de l&#039;Universit\u00e9 Concordia. Auparavant, en tant qu&#039;ing\u00e9nieur professionnel agr\u00e9\u00e9 (P.Eng.), il a pass\u00e9 trois ans chez KGS Group, une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de conseil dans l&#039;industrie hydro\u00e9lectrique, contribuant \u00e0 des projets partout au Canada pour BCHydro, MBHydro, SaskPower et OPG, en mettant l&#039;accent sur l&#039;ing\u00e9nierie m\u00e9cano-structurelle. Esmaeil a obtenu son doctorat en ing\u00e9nierie des structures de l&#039;Universit\u00e9 du Manitoba en 2021, o\u00f9 il s&#039;est sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans les m\u00e9thodes bas\u00e9es sur les donn\u00e9es pour la quantification des dommages des infrastructures civiles. Au cours de son doctorat, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 honor\u00e9 de la bourse d&#039;\u00e9tudes sup\u00e9rieures de l&#039;Universit\u00e9 du Manitoba (UMGF) pendant trois ann\u00e9es cons\u00e9cutives, l&#039;un des prix les plus prestigieux de l&#039;universit\u00e9. Avant son doctorat, il a travaill\u00e9 chez TurboTech Company pendant quatre ans, acqu\u00e9rant de l&#039;exp\u00e9rience dans l&#039;analyse des vibrations des machines tournantes.
