Farzad Sharifpour, Ph.D., est chercheur postdoctoral au LM2\u00a0<\/span>Farzad est membre du groupe de recherche dirig\u00e9 par les professeurs Daniel Therriault, Martin Levesque et David Melancon, qui se concentre sur la mod\u00e9lisation multi-\u00e9chelle des dommages des composites stratifi\u00e9s. Auparavant, il a travaill\u00e9 \u00e0 l'Universit\u00e9 de la Colombie-Britannique (UBC) sous la direction de la professeure Anoush Poursartip, o\u00f9 il a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 des techniques de tomodensitom\u00e9trie synchrotron pour capturer les d\u00e9formations 3D des plastiques renforc\u00e9s de fibres de carbone. Farzad a obtenu son doctorat \u00e0 l'Universit\u00e9 de Waterloo, o\u00f9 ses recherches prim\u00e9es ont port\u00e9 sur des mod\u00e8les informatiques \u00e0 micro-\u00e9chelle pour pr\u00e9dire la formation de fissures dans les plis des stratifi\u00e9s CFRP. Il est l'auteur de plusieurs publications \u00e9valu\u00e9es par des pairs et d'un chapitre de livre sur la mod\u00e9lisation multi-\u00e9chelle des dommages dans les composites stratifi\u00e9s. Ses int\u00e9r\u00eats comprennent les mat\u00e9riaux composites, la fabrication, la mod\u00e9lisation multi-\u00e9chelle, la mod\u00e9lisation non lin\u00e9aire, l'analyse par \u00e9l\u00e9ments finis, la m\u00e9canique des dommages, les microstructures, la tomodensitom\u00e9trie et les techniques exp\u00e9rimentales.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
