Rouhollah D. Farahani est chercheur associ\u00e9 au D\u00e9partement de g\u00e9nie m\u00e9canique de Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al. Dr. Farahani, titulaire d&#039;un doctorat obtenu au D\u00e9partement de g\u00e9nie m\u00e9canique de Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al, est le gestionnaire du projet FACMO2 en collaboration avec le Groupe Safran et Dyze Design. Il poss\u00e8de une expertise en fabrication additive avanc\u00e9e de mat\u00e9riaux composites pour l&#039;industrie a\u00e9rospatiale. Ses contributions pass\u00e9es comprennent le d\u00e9veloppement de mat\u00e9riaux multifonctionnels (par exemple, thermoplastiques renforc\u00e9s de fibres de carbone, thermodurcissables et mat\u00e9riaux \u00e9lectroconducteurs) pour des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s de fabrication de composites avanc\u00e9s (par exemple, FA non planaire \u00e0 six axes, FA multi-mat\u00e9riaux multi-processus, impression \u00e0 forme libre, thermoformage, soudage par induction) principalement pour des applications a\u00e9rospatiales.
