Daniel Therriault est professeur titulaire au D\u00e9partement de g\u00e9nie m\u00e9canique de Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 titulaire d'une chaire industrielle sur la fabrication additive (FA) de composites polym\u00e8res (Chaire FACMO, 2018-2023) et \u00e9galement d'une chaire de recherche du Canada sur la fabrication de microsyst\u00e8mes et mat\u00e9riaux avanc\u00e9s (2009-2019). Il est codirecteur du Laboratoire de m\u00e9canique multi\u00e9chelle (LM2) et ses int\u00e9r\u00eats de recherche sont principalement li\u00e9s \u00e0 la FA de mat\u00e9riaux avanc\u00e9s et de composites multifonctionnels. Ses contributions pass\u00e9es comprennent le d\u00e9veloppement de proc\u00e9d\u00e9s de FA innovants (par exemple, non planaire 6 axes, multi-mat\u00e9riaux multi-proc\u00e9d\u00e9s) et la conception et la fabrication de mat\u00e9riaux multifonctionnels (par exemple, thermoplastiques renforc\u00e9s de fibres de carbone, thermodurcissables abradables, mat\u00e9riaux pi\u00e9zo\u00e9lectriques) pour des applications avanc\u00e9es principalement pour l'a\u00e9rospatiale mais aussi avec un fort potentiel pour les secteurs du transport, de l'\u00e9nergie et biom\u00e9dical.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
